SEJARAH
Lembaga Kursus dan Pelatihan ISMIA Karanganyar adalah lembaga yang berdiri sejak 25 April 1997 dengan nama LKP ISMIA, yang pada mulanya beralamat di Gang Mulwo Rt.01 Rw.09 Karangasem Laweyan – Surakarta. Didirikan oleh Sri Ismiatun, SE,MM sebagai pemilik lembaga kursus. Tujuan pertama mendirikan lembaga kursus atau pelatihan adalah untuk membantu perekonomian keluarga dan pada akhirnya seiring berjalannya waktu serta keluhuran budi pekerti pendiri mempunyai tujuan memberikan keterampilan pada masyarakat lebih luas yang nantinya dari bekal keterampilan itu dapat menciptakan lapangan kerja, usaha mandiri, menjadi mata pencaharian dan dapat mensejahterakan diri sendiri dan orang lain.
Lembaga Kursus dan Pelatihan ISMIA Karanganyar telah banyak menyalurkan lulusan peserta pelatihan pada Dunia Usaha Dunia Industri ( DUDI ) dan peserta didik alumni LKP ISMIA telah banyak yang membuka Usaha Mandiri. Oleh karena pada waktu itu gedung tempat kursus dan pelatihan bersifat sewa, dan setelah memiliki gedung sendiri yang beralamat di Perum Permata Hijau II HH 13 Blulukan Colomadu Karanganyar LKP ISMIA semakin Maju dan memiliki cabang.
